i was born and raised in los angeles county and shoot in the surrounding areas, south los angeles and orange counties, primarily. I am, however, available for travel, please inquire for details.

~LOVE~
i never believed in love at first sight until i met my husband in vegas 8 years ago (apparently not all things stay in vegas!). fast forward six years, we have a beautiful marriage with two beautiful boys, lucas and logan. eight years ago i had no idea this is where i would be today.. and i wouldn't have it any other way!

~LIFE~
i studied liberal arts right out of high school to become an elementary school teacher. i had an amazing teacher in high school and wanted to be that for someone else (a smaller version to the terror i was as a teen, haha!). i took a year off of school, lived in NYC, came back home and changed my major to social work. i now have a master's degree in social work and practice the profession by day as a children's social worker for la county.

~PHOTOGRAPHY~
photography has always been an interest, but it wasn't until i had my first child, luke, that i really fell in love with the art. i used my hard-earned researching skills (thank you master's thesis!) and determination to learn as much as possible before returning to work 8+ months later. i had my nose in books, online articles, message boards, you name it, for the good part of 40+ hours/wk and spent way too many hours googling "what is ____?" lol. i absolutely LOVE being behind the lens. i love the sound of the shutter; with each click moments can be preserved for years to come. and thanks to my horrible memory and lack of my own childhood photographs, i take plenty of personal/family photos to make up for it! i absolutely LOVE shooting relationships! i hope you'll see the life in my work and will allow me to preserve moments in your life for you and your loved ones.

Portrait Session Album

I’m so excited to share this gorgeous album with you! Nothing completes a portrait session like a beautiful, quality album to last through the ages! I’m guilty of not printing out my personal images regularly, but now that I’ve found an awesome lab that produces an amazing, quality album (I’m picky!), I’m definitely looking forward to archiving my family photos in these gorgeous albums!

An Orange County Maternity Session

Since you’ve probably figured out by now that I’m super backed up on blogging sessions, I decided to skip the sneak peek and move right into the full post.. because I couldn’t wait to share these images with such a sweet, lovely couple expecting their first little blessing (a baby girl!!) in just a short 8 weeks!

Adriana & Josh – Thank you, both, SO much for being so awesome during the session, I hope you had as much fun as I did (if that’s even possible!). I’m so honored that you chose me to document this time for you and your loved ones and I absolutely cannot WAIT to meet your little girl in a couple months!

Spring Mini Sessions

Better late than never, right?! I wasn’t planning on offering mini sessions this year, you can imagine how hectic life is with a toddler and new baby and all, however I’ve received quite a few inquires and have a hard time saying no (lucky you!).

This will be the only mini session special I offer this year as the end of the year gets to be very busy for me with the holidays and now two birthday celebrations to plan

Details

Mini sessions will be held on these two dates only, Saturday May 19th and Sunday May 20th. Each session will be 30 mins long and will take place in Orange County (location TBD).

Images will be custom-edited and mailed to you within 7-10 business days.

Prints and products will be discounted 10% for mini session clients only.

Payment ($200+tax) via paypal reserves your spot.

A First Birthday Sneak Peek

I had the honor of shooting Sterling’s adorable (and detailed-filled) birthday event this past weekend. Saturday rain made for a gorgeous and perfect Sunday afternoon for family and friends to celebrate Sterling’s first year! As usual, I had a hard time narrowing down the preview, and as I was feeling very generous (wink! wink!), I thought I’d share quite a few more than usual (for a sneak peek, anyway!).

You’ll see the images below need no caption or introduction… every last detail was absolutely gorgeous (including the home, which just so happened to fit right in with the color theme!).
