A Wedding at The Clark Estate | Deanna + Frankie

A few months ago, I had the pleasure and honor of second shooting with a friend and fellow photographer, Candice Lawrence of Love, Candee Photography at The Clark Estate in Santa Fe Springs, CA. Deanna and Frankie are such a beautiful couple, it was truly a blessing shooting the celebration of their marriage together with Candice! I can’t tell you all the emotions that stirred up as I witnessed their exchange of vows and watched as friends and family celebrated their love. I can’t count the number of times I got teary-eyed and/or choked up, I’d glance at Candice and know that she felt the same. I have to tell you, shooting this wedding I realized two things;

1. I absolutely LOVE shooting weddings, capturing these priceless moments… more than I could have imagined!

2. I need to make sure and include a second shooter/photographer with every wedding package I offer! Really, two sets of eyes are truly a necessity when it comes to your special day, you don’t want any moment lost or not captured!

and

3. (sorry, I know I said two but this is a biggie…) I want to get married all over again! To the same hunk of a man I call my husband, of course;)But honestly, your wedding day has got to be the most dreamy, magical, blessed-filled day EVER! Why wouldn’t I want to relive it over, and over, an over?! I still get weak in the knees when I recall my own wedding day, almost five years ago! And I’m so glad that I hired an amazing wedding photographer who captured all of those precious moments (even the ones I missed) and documented them so beautifully in a gorgeous wedding album!

So, without further delay (I mean, you’ve waited a whole three months, what’s another minute right;)here are the images from Deanna’s and Frankie’s beautiful, love-filled day <3

The gorgeous Gown and Shoes by Badgley Mischka (yes, I had to scroll down and pull the spelling from the shoes, haha)

The Venue

The Guys getting ready (I loved getting to see this side of things, I wish I could’ve been a fly on the wall while my own hubby was preparing for our wedding day – again, thank God for our second shooter that captured all these moments for us, moments that I get to look back on as often as I’d like!)

the unofficial boutonniere pinner;)

A few Wedding Party formals

After I shot the guys getting ready, I was able to sneak into the Bridal suite to shoot a couple of the Bride with her girls celebrating right before the ceremony <3

And the BEST part of the day? The CEREMONY!

And I <3 these next two shots, especially the first where Deanna is admiring her wedding ring <3 The witnesses sign their name in blood! haha, j/k about the blood… even though I’m sure my hubby believes this to be the case :/

Aren’t these the most gorgeous sisters ever?!

A few Bride + Groom portraits and more details <3

And last, but certainly not least, the events of the Reception

Love first dances <3

And the special dances honoring their mothers:)

I love how Deanna’s sisters are watching in the background, love, love, LOVE!

just catching up with the guests:)

LOVE the next capture. These girls were TOO cute!

and the last photo of the night <3

If you made it this far, thanks for looking <3 It’s my first wedding share, so please forgive my lengthy post. They say that it’s easier shooting people that you have no emotional ties to, as it’s easier to cull/narrow down the images from the event but so far (and if you follow my work you already know this by now), I don’t find that to be the case! I just see so much joy and love in so many images that it’s hard not to share with you all <3 I hope you don’t mind;)

Deanna + Frankie – I wish you both everlasting love and a very blessed and peaceful marriage <3

Candice – THANK YOU for bringing me along to such a beautiful wedding and allowing me to shoot by your side, I can’t tell you how much FUN I had, thank you!
